This event at the Rio Grande Theater will include music, poetry and guest speakers that embody different facets of mental health in our world. We will have guest speaker Athena Huckaby, MPH and Javi Cornejo, CPSW- along with musicians, poets and a comedian! The theme for this celebration is ‘Room for One More’. The entry fee is a suggested donation of ten dollars towards the Grajeda-Huckaby Low-Barrier Housing fund.
The mission of Lizard Glitter is to provide mental health peer support directly and through community programming centered around art and music, as well as providng a pedestal for non-profits and their resources to be more widely known.
